Join us for Chara Christian Dance Academy's Company Showcase — an evening that celebrates the passion, dedication, and artistry of Chara’s company dancers. This special performance brings together the Elevate Competitive Teams, Friendswood Contemporary Ballet, and our Performance Companies for a dynamic display of technique, creativity, and teamwork. From powerful contemporary works to high-energy jazz, lyrical, pom, and musical theater pieces, the Showcase highlights the growth of our dancers and the excellence of our training programs. We invite families, friends, and community members to join us for a night that honors hard work, elevates young artists, and reflects the heart behind Chara Christian Dance Academy.
ABOUT OUR TEAMS
Elevate is an elite training program for dancers. Our mission is to cultivate artists who are both passionate and technical, who move with excellence, and who have a heart for communicating the love of God with their audiences. We provide a positive training ground with healthy coaching where students gain proficiency in various styles of dance, build character, and strengthen friendships; as they work as a team to attain both short-term and long-term goals.

Friendswood Contemporary Ballet is a semi-professional ballet company located in Friendswood, TX. The company has a cast of resident artists and strives to maintain technical and artistic distinction by supplementing performances with esteemed guest artists. The residential artists are local dance students who have distinguished themselves in the fields of ballet and contemporary ballet.

Focusing on performance skills, fun, and friendship, Performance Company is the perfect opportunity for the recreational dancer to grow in confidence and dance skills. Each company learns two different style dances early in the fall, performs 5-7 times around the community, including church and school events, and participates in our Company Showcase in January.
